Long-term Manchester United target Jurrien Timber set for summer switch to Premier League rivals
Ajax ace Jurrien Timber was denied a move to Manchester United last summer - but he could soon be joining Arsenal.Ajax defender Timber has been the subject of a £30m bid from ArsenalCredit: Getty, Arsenal have have submitted a bid worth around £30million for the 22-year-old Netherlands international.
The report adds Ajax are seeking £50million for the star, given he has two years remaining on his current deal. Timber has made 15 appearances for his nation, and netted twice in 34 outings in the Eredvisie this season. A move to Mikel Arteta's side may disappoint United boss Erik ten Hag, who previously managed him at Ajax.
