“Look at The Rock, he has become the biggest Hollywood star in the world, and probably the biggest wrestling star of all time.”“I wrestled at Gloucester, which is a Jamaican area, and I had a great response because I wrestled Johnny Saint. It was kind of a big thing for the community to see a local Caribbean boy taking on probably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.”
“We’ve got Cheltenham on Sunday and then we’ve got another event in October, where we’re going to be bringing out a couple of international superstars.When asked what makes his brand unique, Matt’s vision was clear. “I actually promote professional wrestling. I tend not to promote storylines and silly little gimmicks, its great entertainment, but I don’t think that’s what the fans want.”
“I would prefer people to have two and a half hours of seven great matches so when they go home that evening, and they go back to their normal lives, at least they can say for the week, we went to watch wrestling on Sunday, and tt was a great night out, that’s what my job is about.”
