People will be able to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows throughout Merseyside.
People across Merseyside will be able to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows as they return to the region for the Southport Air Show.
But people in Merseyside should be able to catch a surprise glimpse of the Red Arrows as they fly from their base at RAF Waddingham to Blackpool Airport on Friday, September 8. The Journey will take around 30 minutes and will pass over a number of areas in the city.The jets will stay at Blackpool Airport before appearing at Southport Air Show on Saturday, September 9.
The jets will then head down the Mersey from Speke towards Formby between 4.22pm and 4.25pm before landing at Blackpool airport at around 4.29pm. Timings and routes may change due to weather or other requirements. With an iconic combination of close formation flying and dynamic loops and rolls, the team has been displaying since 1965. They're definitely a favourite of any air show event but there's plenty of other activities on offer.
