The American star is considered to be one the best-loved singers of all time, known for her bestselling hits What's Love Got To Do With It?, Proud Mary and Simply The Best among others.She became famous in the late 1960s as the singer of the band Ike & Turner Revue but eventually went on to find fame as a solo artist.
The music icon sold over 180 million albums worldwide and won 12 Grammy Awards throughout her impressive career. She also toured the world, performing to sellout crowds in stadiums for over 30 years and was regarded as one of the hardest workers in showbiz.
