Keely has completely transformed her body and her health after being told by her doctor she may not live for another seven years - she is now as fit as a fiddle
An inspiring woman has shared her journey to become happier and healthier after realising her weight was holding her back.
Speaking to RSVP Live, she said: "My doctor said look, your heart will give up. It's not a case of if, it's when. That was so scary to hear that when I was only 34. Being severely overweight, the best course of action for Keely was weight loss surgery. She travelled abroad for this and had it done in 2021, and all went smoothly for her. Recovery was straight forward and since the surgery she has lost a massive 10 stone and transformed her health.
"Looking back, carrying that much excess weight around is absolutely crazy. Everyday life is just so much easier and so much better. I'm not ashamed to go outside anymore; I used to be so ashamed that I had let myself get to that.
