The Today FM presenter shed two stone after being prescribed Ozempic. Doctors gave him the drug following his type-2 diabetes diagnosis in 2012.
Ian said: "It was designed to help people with type-2 diabetes, but it does make you less interested in food. Come six o’clock in the evening, I might think, 'that dinner looks great but I'm just not hungry? I certainly wouldn't recommend for anything other than what it is prescribed for."He told the RTÉ Guide: “I believe that I now will be taking it forever. In the wake of my diagnosis in 2012, I was watching everything I ate but I'm more relaxed about it now.
