Snow and sleet has been seen in some areas, but most are warming up compared to the last week of freezing temperatures
Snow and sleet has started to fall across parts of Lancashire this morning. This comes as the Met Office has put multiple weather warnings in place today.
Snow has began to fall in parts of East Lancashire, including Darwen, this morning. Small showers of sleet have also fallen in West Lancashire including Leyland. In their yellow weather warning, The Met Office said that 'aperiod of freezing rain and snow will lead to some disruption to travel and other activities, before turning to rain later.'
