Todd Cantwell was 'touch and go' for Rangers as Rabbi Matondo set Michael Beale challenge
Michael Beale has revealed Todd Cantwell was 'touch and go' to face Livingston as he challenged Rabbi Matondo to take his chance.
Cantwell will be needed on Tuesday night for the Light Blues' huge second leg clash in Switzerland with the winner reaching the play-off round and moving to potentially just 180 minutes away from a spot at Europe's top table. PSV or Sturm Graz await with the Dutch side in a commanding position after a 4-1 first leg triumph.
"He took a knock to his thigh in the game in midweek. He was desperate to play but you could see he got really tired just before he came off. The second goal for us came at the right time because we managed to re-energise or rest the midfield, if you like. "Tom Lawrence is in the background but he's been out for a year so is a 10 or 15 minute man, but he'll get there."
