Tom Brady has bought a 10 per cent stake in the Las Vegas Raiders and could push for Bill Belichick to become the team's next head coach after the move was announced
Tom Brady, having recently become a minority shareholder of the Las Vegas Raiders, is rumoured to be eyeing his former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
With a swift transition from NFL player to FOX broadcaster and now to NFL owner within just 18 months, Brady is anticipated to wield considerable influence over the team's operations. The future of current head coach Antonio Pierce remains uncertain, and sports podcaster Kirk Minihane has hinted at a possible shake-up.
Belichick, 72, took the helm of the Patriots back in 2000, the same year Brady was drafted, and together they clinched six Super Bowl titles before Brady's departure in 2020 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite being keen to find a new coaching role in the offseason, Belichick remained unsigned. However, in September, it was reported that he's open to a head coaching role in 2025, but only if the right opportunity comes along.
