The Light Blues midfielder is the second Ibrox star linked with a reunion with Giovanni van Bronckhorst this summer.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has just been installed as the new manager at the Turkish outfit and after local reports suggested he wants club chiefs to approach his former club for skipper James Tavernier, the Daily Mail state he is also pondering a move for the man he snapped up for the Ibrox side after his exit from Derby County.
The 30-year-old - who has one year left on his current deal - made 32 appearances in all competitions last term after getting over a long-term injury issue. Philippe Clement is currently undergoing a summer rebuild but it is unclear whether he would be willing to part ways with the midfielder. He's already allowed the likes of John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, Kemar Roofe, Borna Barisic and Jon McLaughlin leave after their contracts expired with a number of fringe men also expected to follow.
Oscar Cortes and Jefte are in the door with a host of names linked as Rangers scout the globe for new talent. Lawrence is also said to be attracting interest from south of the border according to the same publication with English Premier League newboys Ipswich Town keen. Kieran McKenna is looking to add experience to his ranks as they bid to stay up in the top flight next term while relegated Sheffield United - back in the English Championship - are also monitoring developments as they look to bounce back at the first time of asking.
