Reality TV star Tommy Fury has revealed that his split from Molly-Mae Hague last year was due to his alcohol addiction following a boxing injury. Fury, in a new interview, denied any infidelity and blamed his dependency on alcohol for not being the partner he wanted to be. The former Love Island couple, who share a daughter, Bambi Fury, got engaged in 2023 but called it off in August 2022.
Reality TV star Tommy Fury has finally revealed the reason his engagement to Molly-Mae Hague ended and claims it had nothing to do with infidelity. In a new interview, the former Love Island star blames his dependency on alcohol after sustaining a boxing injury for the split last year and denies he ever cheated on the mother of his daughter - slamming the rumours and online speculation as 'complete and utter b***ocks.
"The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore," Tommy tells Men's Health Magazine. "It kills me to say it, it’s true, I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is. People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine to bear.
He goes on to admit that his relationship with Molly-Mae began to suffer thanks to his "black-out drunk" drinking sessions - which saw him party with controversial American singer Chris Brown in August - but despite going to a dark place, he never cheated on Molly-Mae and maintained his close relationship with their young daughter.
In her vlog, Molly-Mae revealed: "The documentary is six episodes, and the first three drop on the 17th of this month with Amazon Prime. And then we're currently in the process of filming the secondary lot of three which will drop a couple of months later. So yeah, still filming. I had a nice break, I actually filmed for the first time again - was it last night or the night before? When a little bit of a - not a crisis broke out, but, you know, another day in the office.
Another user concurred: "Using the 'breakup' as PR for Maebe, Tommy's book and documentary. But snogging Tommy on NYE? Convenient! ! ! " "IT WAS ALL A PR STUNT. Well played; So the breakup WAS fake? ? " fumed a third, while a fourth alleged: "They didn't even really split, money money money."
