Most of us will have suffered an oven pizza fail at some point in our lives. And let's face it, frozen or shop-bought pizzas may be the cheaper option, but they just don't have the same appeal as those served in a pizzeria.
The chef, who lives in Ormskirk and runs Two Cents Pizza which includes a pizza school, revealed the secret hack.Last year, Nicola, a mum-of-two, who quit her nine-to-five desk job to realise her pizza-making dream, also posted a series of videos and images on her social media channels, comparing cooking a pizza with supermarket ingredients, to prove it could be done on a budget, with successful and tasty results.
"Throw some extra toppings on there. Add a little rocket, some parmesan and a little bit of balsamic glaze. You can make anything more exciting with these ingredients." But the advice doesn't stop there, the top chef says the key is to also keep a close eye on your pizza in the oven.
