The widower of Celtic footballer Tommy Burns, Rosemary, has shockingly passed away during a flight after she was taken unwell and the plane was forced to make an emergency landing
Rosemary Burns, the widow of Celtic legend Tommy Burns, has tragically passed away on a flight from Tenerife to Glasgow.
Explaining the situation, they stated: "Rosemary became unwell while on holiday in Tenerife." Continuing the troubling story, they added: "She felt she had to get home."However, as the source described: "She got on the plane and became unwell. The flight was supposed to land in Glasgow but it ended up being diverted to Cork."
Of course, the saddening news sparked a wave of tributes for Rosemary from football fans, who expressed their condolences to the Burns family. One fan penned: "There will be a warm welcome waiting in heaven for you Rosemary. May you fly high with the angels in heaven."
