Laser's long list of successes included sniffing out a €900,000 cannabis grow house in 2019
Gardaí have paid tribute to a top sniffer dog who is hanging up his harness after more than a decade of service.
An Garda Síochána announced Laser’s retirement on social media yesterday, revealing that he will now enjoy some well-deserved rest with his best friend and handler, Garda Pat Harrington, at his home in Co Cork."After every successful day’s work, Laser’s reward was time to play with his prized tennis ball. He’s a sucker, too, for some Rodeo dog treats and Dentastix," read a post on social media.
