Foreign ministers from oil-rich Gulf states arrive in Beijing for a five-day visit as turmoil in neighbouring Kazakhstan raises concerns about China's energy security
Visits of foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, along with the secretary general of the GCC will"deepen relations between the two sides," says Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Monday gave no details of the agendas for the visits, but said they were expected to "deepen relations between the two sides." It wasn't immediately clear if he would join the meetings with the others. Khatibzadeh said the foreign minister left for Oman today.
