Bakestone Café & Pantry in Fota Retail Park in Cork is celebrating its 10th year in business

Bakestone Café & Pantry in Fota Retail Park is celebrating its 10th year in business and stocks produce from 150 Irish producers.

The business was founded by husband and wife Joe and Maura Carey in 2013, employs 57 staff and had turnover of €2 million last year. “We like to think of it as a point of community connection, a place where people can meet up. We serve quality-focused food and beverages; there’s a high focus on seasonality and locality. It’s a very brunch heavy destination,” Joe Carey told the Business Post.
