According to the Manchester Evening News, the delegate was at the four-star hotel on Peter Street on Monday night after having some drinks.The newspaper reports that the aftermath was witnessed by a group of senior emergency officers, who were in the vicinity carrying out a safety and risk assessment of the area around the conference centre.
