EastEnders star Tracy-Ann Oberman will be reprising her role as Chrissie Watts, the wife of Dirty Den, that was before she murdered him and buried him under the Queen Vic
Tracy-Ann Oberman is returning to EastEnders to reprise her role as the iconic Chrissie Watts almost 20 years since her last appearance on the BBC soap. The actress, who famously left Walford in December 2005 after her character was sent to prison for the murder of her husband 'Dirty' Den Watts , will make a triumphant return this autumn.
Now, it has been confirmed by BBC bosses that she will be making a shocking return this autumn, which is sure to ruffle some feathers in Albert Square. But what has the actress been up to since we last saw her on EastEnders, let's take a closer look... She starred in Casualty and The Bill before joining EastEnders in 2004 where she stayed until 2005. After her stint on EastEnders, Tracy went on to star in Doctor Who, Tracy Beaker Returns, Waterloo Road, Friday Night Dinner, Ricky Gervais’ Netflix's Afterlife as Rebecca, Channel 4's It’s a Sin as Carol Carter and Netflix's The Witcher as Queen Hedwig.
The actress is Jewish and has previously said: "Surprisingly, to me, it all came back to being Jewish. I say surprisingly because I spent most of my 20s and early 30s on a path that took me far from my religion"
