The road has since reopened

Police have said traffic flow should return to normal in Ballymena after some earlier traffic disruption on Sunday morning and afternoon.

The Collision Investigation Unit was investigating a fatal collision on the Church Road, Moorfields in the town. An 80-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with an other vehicle on Sunday 7 May.Sadly, he died of injuries sustained in the incident.There was disruption between the Collin Road/Church Road and Douglas Road/Collin Road junctions, with the Ballynulto Road/Church Road junction also affected.
