Tragedy as devoted couple who 'lived life to the full' die within a day of each other before Christmas
A devoted couple who were 'never apart' unexpectedly died just a day after each other before Christmas. Dianne Cade, 62 and husband John, 65, had been together for 40 years after first meeting as pen pals in the '80s, before they suddenly died in December.
Dianne passed away suddenly after a fall on December 21, with John tragically passing away the following day. They leave four children, Hannah, Jenny, Jason and Sean and five grandchildren.CheshireLive reported how devastated daughter Hannah described her mum Dianne, a former production worker, and dad John, an engineer, as 'the best parents' and 'the best grandparents'.
"My mum and dad were pen pals and then he went to stay with my mum for two weeks and they ended up falling in love. We always used to joke that 'your two weeks is up, now you can go'. "They had so much fun together and with our family and every day was a party to them. The kids were never bored when they were with them. My mum and dad were probably at a festival ever other weekend. They had lots of fun."
