'People are very angry about it'

Trees have been snapped in a Nottinghamshire town in what a councillor has described as "mindless vandalism". The saplings were found broken between Maryland Court and Denver Court in Stapleford on the morning of Thursday, April 27.

"They were funded by the Urban Tree Challenge Fund. When you try to make things look nice and make things better it's mindless idiots that ruin it.
