Jack McCoy was a key player in the Moneyglass team which won the Antrim Intermediate Football Championship in 2020 and the Division Two crown in 2022
Tributes have been paid to 23-year-old Jack McCoy GAA player from Co Antrim following his sudden death on Sunday. He featured in both semi-final wins over St Paul’s and the final against Dunloy and was also on the scoresheet in those two wins.
Jack McCoy remained an integral part of their success in recent season and, by the time Moneyglass won the All-County Division Two title in 2022, he had switched from corner-forward to the half-back line - although an ACL injury curbed his season last year. Jack worked as as Engineering Scientist at Glenbio Ltd in Antrim and his untimely passing has sent shockwaves throughout the Moneyglass community.
