Hundreds of tributes have flooded in after the news of the death of a 107-year-old Roscommon man, one of Ireland's oldest residents.
Michael Coyne from Boyle passed away on Tuesday and was described as a ‘gentle soul’.death notice reads: “The death has occurred of Michael Coyne, Boyle, Co Roscommon and formally Cloonfinglas, Fairymount, Co Roscommon on Tuesday, May 21, in his 107th year.
There were hundreds of comments offering condolences to the family, showing that Michael was a valued member of the community. Another said: “My sincere condolences to his nephew and his family and many friends. A true Gentleman. May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace in his Heavenly home.”
