The 83-year-old was President of Lincolnshire Artists’ Society between 1997 and 2015 and his work has been showcased in national and international galleries, including the Usher Gallery and Sam Scorer Gallery in Lincoln. The society announced his sad passing on February 23, 2024.The Plough in Bracebridge, Lincoln, and Bombay Spice in Skegness were given much-improved scores, but The Castle Inn in Freiston and Pizza Planet in Grimsby were recently slapped with 'one' star ratings.

Traffic in central Lincoln is set to be rocked by a seven-month £2 million repairs programme on Newland, which councillors say will be a “massive piece of work” in the heart of the city. The large-scale project will see improvements to the Newland area of the city, preserving the future of one of Lincoln’s busiest traffic and pedestrian routes for decades to come.
