A tribute to Caitriona 'Triona' Logan, a 37-year-old mother from Co Westmeath who passed away after a battle with brain cancer. She had raised over €300,000 for experimental treatments.
Tributes have been a paid to a young mother-of-two from Co Westmeath who has passed away following a battle with brain cancer .
The popular radiologist would sometimes get blurred vision along with feelings of pressure in her head if she was lying down and playing with her two children, Kitty, aged four, and Barra, two. Due to her work, Caitríona knew immediately after her scan what she was in for, and she soon began undergoing radiation therapy in Dublin.
After battling the disease for just over 13 months, Triona passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, November 28.
