Tributes and support have come in for the family of Denise Morgan, 39, of Tullyallen in Drogheda, who died in New York over the weekend in a tragic murder suicide
Morgan, 39, was shot dead by her boyfriend, Joed Taveras, in a brutal murder suicide on Saturday, 21st of October. Morgan leaves behind a 9 year old daughter, Mollie.
According to the Irish Mirror report, police found a gun near the body of her boyfriend Taveras four days ago, moments after neighbours reported violence disturbances in their apartment. Denise’s heartbroken family have posted on the GoFundMe page: “Denise was a loving mother, caring sister and beautiful daughter, her love for life was contagious. The news of her murder sent shock waves through our hearts, leaving a void that will never be filled.
Alan Whyte, cousin of Denise and organiser of the GoFundMe page, updated the page yesterday, saying: “Words cannot describe the generosity we have received, from across the globe. Honestly from the bottom of our hearts we thank every single one of you for your donations, shares and kindness”.
