Stephen O'Byrne, 19, who was a passenger in the car, has been described as a "lovely young lad". The driver, 18, of the the car was also injured in the single vehicle crash on Vale Road in Arklow on Monday night.
" Friends of the young car enthusiast have organised a gathering of cars for Stephen's funeral. The Facebook page Right Side Society said: "As most of you already know Stephen O’Byrne sadly passed away last night. "Stephen was mad into his cars he will be very sadly missed by everyone in Aughrim, Arklow, surrounding areas and the car community.
