Sympathies are being extended to the family of Ronan Keating following the tragic death of his older brother Ciarán
He was travelling to Sligo with his wife to watch their son take on Sligo Rovers in a football match.
The driver of the second car and Mr Keating's wife were treated at Mayo University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.."Our thoughts are also with Ciarán's wife who is in hospital at the moment as a result of the accident".
