A young man from County Cork , Ireland, has tragically passed away unexpectedly in Thailand earlier this month, leaving his family and friends in deep sorrow. Greg Cullinane, a resident of Blackpool in Cork City, died suddenly on January 14th while abroad. His death was announced through a notice on the RIP.ie website, which described him as the beloved son of Patricia (nee Keane) and the late Sean, and a loving brother to Ken and Lorraine.

He is also mourned by his nieces Megan and Jodie, uncles, aunts, sister-in-law Michelle, relatives, and friends. Colleagues and friends have shared heartfelt tributes, remembering Greg as a kind, fun-loving, and wonderful person. One friend wrote, 'My sincere condolences to Ken and the Cullinane family on the sudden passing of Greg. We had many a great laugh in our earlier years, great guy, great fun, always smiling, may he rest in eternal peace.' Another mourner expressed their deepest sympathies to Greg's mother, Tricia, and his siblings, stating that he was a true gentleman and a valued friend. Greg, who worked as a bricklayer for Barr Construction in Donoughmore, Cork, will be laid to rest this Thursday, January 30th, with his funeral mass held at the Church of the Resurrection in Farranree, Cork, followed by burial at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Kilcully
