Friends took to social media to pay their respects to Scott Mitchell, mentioning his 'big smile' and 'endless banter'
Tributes have been paid to a man who died following a disturbance in the Scottish Highlands, after a teenager was arrested in connection with his death.
Sadly, a 48-year-old man died at the scene. He has been named locally as Scott Mitchell. A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with his death. Posting on Facebook, Jacqueline Noble said: "Devastating news. Couldn’t have met a nicer, quiet guy, and a genuine lovely family. Thinking of you all."
Julie Douglas wrote: "My friend, my comrade, I’ll miss you Scott, I can’t explain how broken I am to hear you’re gone. Thank you for the laughs, the knowledge and the guidance. Forever alive in my memories and my heart. Rest easy fella."
