Martin McGill, 49, was one of ten people killed in the blast in the village of Creeslough in County Donegal on October 7, in what is suspected to be a gas leak.

The Garda has now released his picture and confirmed his identity along with the other victims, who were aged from five to 59.He had lived in Creeslough where he was caring for his elderly mother, and it is understood he had gone to the service station to withdraw cash when the blast happened. Now people have offered their condolences to Martin, who has been described as being a"pleasure to know".Another said that he was "such a genuine, nice guy. Always in the shop doing shopping for other people in Creeslough, may he rest in peace."

Among the tributes was a comment from Martin's cousin which read:"Rest in eternal peace to our cousin Martin. A lovelier guy you couldn't meet. Reunited with your Dad Joe."
