Many have paid tribute to Gary on social media with him being described as a kind-hearted and fun-loving person who was a great friend and loving father to his daughter Mary-Kate. While another said: "So sad for Gary's daughter and family. He truly was one of a kind and was always laughing. A Warrenpoint legend and he will be missed by many. RIP Gary."
