Trinity Students Union has ended an encampment on the college campus that had been blocking access to the Book Of Kells.

Incoming SU President Jenny Maguire said they are satisfied with the wording of an agreement reached between the SU and the college.“The president of the college, through a student campaign, has committed to the demands. “They’ve done it before with the colonial legacy working group, they’ve done it with the fossil fuel industry, with the arms industry, and we don’t see why this should be different.”“In terms of sleeping over, there was at least 100”, they said.“The support has been unbelievable; we’ve almost 100 tents as well and people coming and going from those tents to support, take part, and demand more from their college.
