Festival boss Geoff Ellis revealed the weekender is here to stay long term after another staggering event.
Thousands of fans have brought the curtain down on TRNSMT in style with the help of Scots dance star Calvin Harris .Over three days, fans basked in the sunshine and mainly dry weather at Glasgow Green with temperatures soaring after a poor start to the Scottish summer.
“Equipment changes and the layout changes. It doesn’t get easier. You just get a little more experience.” There appeared to be a big Spanish contingent ahead of last night’s Euro 24 final between England and Spain if the flags and football tops on show were anything to go by. “I’d like to stay longer but I have a six hour train journey back to London and will watch the Euro 24 final on my iPhone on the way back.”
“Every year I’ve been here has been fantastic. We used to get the train but get the Happy Bus now. That way we can have a drink on the bus. Paul, 62, added: “We like a bit of everything I used to be a big blues fan and like different styles of music.
