LANGKAWI, Oct 16 -- Members of the Civil Defense Force are monitoring the Padang Mat Sirat Public Market which was flooded last night. BERNAMAPIX: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has expressed concern over the flooding which occurred in Langkawi on Sunday.
Dr Mahathir, who is also the incumbent MP of Langkawi, will be heading to the island and has advised residents and visitors to be careful. This morning, Bernama reported that 44 people from 11 families were still at flood evacuation centres.
