The results of the investigation into the alleged abuse the 13 Turpin siblings experienced under the care of Riverside County is expected to be released soon after a weeks-long delay.
County Supervisor Kevin Jeffries aired his frustrations at the status of the investigation back in late March, calling it one of the most frustrating experiences he's had on the board.
"My experience in our ad hoc committee in closed session to try and get to the root of some of the challenges we face was met with, ‘I can’t tell you that, Supervisor.' 'I'm sorry, I can't disclose that, Supervisor.' ‘I can’t tell you how it happened, Supervisor,'" he saidn March 2022.
