TUS is a multi-campus technological university spanning across four counties and six campuses, with a seventh campus, Coonagh Campus in Limerick , set to open later this year. The university has 2,000 staff, and focuses on applied, practical education.“Our hands-on approach ensures that students gain real-world experience and develop the skills needed to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving workforce,” said a spokeswoman.graduate outcomes survey, 86.

The university has seven dedicated research institutes and a diverse array of research groups, centres, and faculties, spanning disciplines from fine art and design to biotechnology and sustainable development.
“With a focus on open science principles, we are well positioned to make a significant impact on society across a range of areas, from life sciences and health to environmental sustainability and digital inclusion.”The Athlone Campus has about 6,000 students. It offers industry-focused courses from higher certificate to PhD levels, and features programmes in areas such as virtual reality, cybersecurity, and pharmaceutical science.
Coonagh Campus is to open later this year. The the university said it will be the midwest’s “premier engineering-focused higher-education hub”.
