RTE's Oliver Callan wasn't impressed by Virgin Media's coverage of Saturday's game.
RTE’s Oliver Callan has hit out at Virgin Media’s "dull" coverage of Ireland’s win over Scotland on Saturday night.
The presenter bemoaned the punditry after the game and demanded more energy from the four men in the studio, including former players Rob Kearney, Shane Horgan and ex-Scotland coach Matt Williams.
“And when it was over I have to say the Virgin Media punditry after the match, it was like watching a very dry business meeting. I mean Janey Mack!“Four men in a studio sounding like they’re at a funeral, rather than the most exciting few weeks in the history of Irish rugby." Callan went on to list RTE reporter Ryle Nugent and former rugby player Eddie O’Sullivan as two people he wants to listen to.
