The Glasgow Times headed to Hope Street to catch a glimpse of the sculpture but noticed it looked very different.has since revealed that the sculpture is a 'Millennium Milepost'.The Hope Street statue was originally situated inside Glasgow Central Station on platform 15 and stayed there for the past 22 years before being moved to Hope Street this year.
“We have been working to reposition some of these Millennium Mileposts to better assist people walking, wheeling and cycling towards or along the National Cycle Network.
