Twitter has gone down as thousands of users have complained of issues with the social media app and website. On DownDetector, reports started flooding in around 9.50am on Wednesday .

On DownDetector, 63 per cent of reported problems involve the app, while 33 per cent are reported to be taking place on the desktop version of the social media. Around four per cent are reporting problems with the site's server. Many people have gone on to share the issues they've been experiencing. @Assasyngal posted: "What do you mean "welcome to twitter" I've on this hellsite since 2010."
