The gang has been dealt severe blows after a number of drug seizures in recent weeks
Two close male associates of a Drogheda feud mob boss are due to appear in court on Thursday morning on charges of organised crime, money laundering and drugs offences.
The pair are suspected of assisting the gang leader and are suspected of money laundering and unlawful possession of drugs. They are due before Dundalk District Court this morning. The raids were part of Operation Stratus, an ongoing investigation into organised criminal activity and the sale and supply of drugs and associated money laundering in the Drogheda area. As part of the investigation, so far a total of 14 women and one man - who are close associates of the feuding gang - have already been charged with money laundering offences in recent weeks.
