Channel 5's The Good Ship Murder is returning to our screens in October, with Catherine Tyldesley and Shayne Ward making a comeback to play the lead characters in the hit series
Catherine Tyldesley and Shayne Ward will be returning for two more series of The Good Ship Murder, it has been confirmed.
The show is set aboard a luxury cruise ship, but as a string of murders occur, Cath and Shayne's characters set out to solve them. The first episode from the eight-part series will be premiering on Channel 5 at 9pm on Friday 13th October. The Sun reports that Mike Benson, from makers Clapperboard, said: “Series one was something of a journey – or mid-price cruise – into the unknown, not least trying to film a drama on a cruise ship with 6,000 holidaymakers heading to eight different countries.”As news emerged that The Good Ship Murder is coming back, fans couldn't contain their excitement, as they rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to comment.
A third gushed: "Gonna be watching this, I think.. loved Aidan and Eva in Corrie & Shayne and Catherine's chemistry is brilliant. Can't wait to see them in another show together!"
