Two injured after crash involving car and motorbike on busy Greater Manchester road
Two people have been injured following a crash between a car and a motorbike on a busy Rochdale road. Emergency services were called out to Halifax Road, near to Mark Street, at around 5pm yesterday .
Paramedics assessed two people at the scene following the collision. Greater Manchester Police says the casualties suffered minor head injuries. Firefighters were also called out to the scene and helped to clear up fluid from the road following the crash. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At around 5pm on Saturday, January 7, firefighters were called to reports of a crash between a motorcycle and a car on Halifax Road in Rochdale.“One fire engine from Rochdale fire station quickly attended the scene.
“Two casualties were assessed at the scene by North West Ambulance Service paramedics. Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour and half.”
