Music fans left ‘screaming’ as huge nineties pop legends The Corrs announce Dublin gig
THOSE who fancy a tuneful trip down memory lane should head to the Hyde Park Festival this summer, where not only Natalie Imbruglia, but also The Corrs will headline at the 7Neighbours star Natalie Imbruglia
Last year the fans went into a frenzy when The Corrs who consist of sisters, Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and brother Jim Corr, announced that they’re heading out on tour for the first time since 2017. But many in Europe were dismayed to learn that they’d be playing stadiums over in Asia, playing Indonesia and The Phillipines followed by Australia and New Zealand.When they announced the news on social media, “Less than three months until we’re out on the road," fans begged them to release some dates for Europe and the US.The Corrs released their first album Forgiven, Not Forgotten in 1995 and it went on to sell more than 3m copies in the UK alone.
"I was jaded. I needed to take the foot off the pedal and do something different, something I really wanted to do. I didn’t feel I was taking a risk, I actually felt I was taking control. To me it was just very exciting to have time out and do something different."The star took to social media to express her excitement to be joining Shania Twain and The Corrs onstage.
She said: “ I am so excited to announce I will e joining the all girl line-up as a special guest at @bsthydepark on Sunday 7Having enjoyed a break from the spotlight, Natalie who has a four-year old son is ready to get back out there
