The items have been axed to make way for new limited edition products
The fast food chain has announced two new sauces to its menu - a chipotle mayo sauce and creamy ranch sauce - as part of the 40th birthday celebrations for its McNuggets.
The new dips are available today, but only for a limited period. McDonald's said: "Chipotle Mayo is on its way to McDonald’s restaurants. Take your McNuggets on a journey that is creamy and vibrant with a touch of spice."They added: "America’s most popular sauce is also coming to McDonald’s. The best thing to come from across the pond, coat your McNuggets with the flavour-packed Creamy Ranch dip.
However, McDonald's has removed its Garlic Mayo dip and Mega Hot Sauce dip from the menu - a move which has upset some customers. On Facebook, McDonald's said: "It's almost time to say goodbye to our two newest dips. Which one will you miss most once it disappears from the menu on Wednesday? 1. Garlic Mayo 2. Mega Hot.
