Men pronounced dead at the scene on the R173 in Carlingford shortly after midnight
The two men, whose age is unknown, were pronounced dead at the scene on the R173 inNo other persons were injured and the bodies of the deceased have been removed to Louth County Hospital in Dundalk for a postmortem examination.
The road is now closed to facilitate an examination by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place. Anyone with information is asked to contact Carlingford Garda station on 042-9373102, The Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
