Gary and Jamie Thomson were part of a trio who ambushed the wheelchair user in his own home, slashing him with scissors until he managed to crawl away and get help. His third attacker, Sarah Blakeway avoided a jail sentence today.
Two thugs who took part in a terrifying raid on a disabled man in his own home have been jailed for a total of more than nine years.
The assailants - along with 34-year-old Sarah Blakeway - then escaped with the man's BMW 535 car and his beloved pet bulldog Kira. Gary Thomson had earlier pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Strock to his severe injury as well as his permanent disfigurement and impairment. He also admitted to a theft charge.
Blakeway was spared a jail term. She was instead hit with a 15-month community payback order, having admitted to the same charges as Jamie Thomson.The court earlier heard how the victim was awoken by the trio around 3am.
