Tragic road collision claims the lives of two young men from Co Tyrone. Other occupants of the second vehicle involved sustained serious injuries.
Two young men in their 30s have been killed in a horrific road crash in Co Donegal . The men, Ryan Glenn and Gordy Galbraith, from Castlederg in Co Tyrone, died instantly when their Ford Focus collided with a Kia Sportage in the village of Liscooley at approximately 10pm. Three other people in the Kia, a man and a woman in their 70s and another woman in her 30s, were injured.
The man and woman in their 70s are in a serious condition at Letterkenny University Hospital's Intensive Care Unit, while the woman in her 30s is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene trying to determine the cause of the crash. Local Parish Priest Fr Patsy Arkinson said the scene was 'shocking,' and that locals were 'shocked and hurt', offering his thoughts and prayers to those involved. Local Fianna Fail councillor Patrick McGowan said the entire community was in shock and expressed condolences to the bereaved families
