The website for Irish women

We’ve all heard that song about someone walking in a field of gold, Sting made it famous, and Nadine Coyle once sang it on, but we never thought it could actually happen. However as it turns out, if you stroll through fields in Limerick you might be walking on a lot more than just grass. After a lengthy surveillance operation Gardai in Co. Limerick made a move on a field in Portcrusha, Castleconnell, where two men were found digging up cash. €1.25 million to be precise.

The lads were using a digger to unearth bundles of cash from six feet under the ground and the men were then using a tumble dryer to dry out the soggy notes in a shed in the field. We know, men can use tumble dryers?! That is somewhat of a Christmas miracle.Lads we could put that to good use over the Christmas holidays, let us know if you need a hand getting rid of it.
