Officers are appealing for witnesses

Two people on a motorbike were seen "hitting a moving vehicle with a weapon" in Northamptonshire. after the incident in Dunkley Way, Lower Harlestone.

She was assaulted by a man, resulting in facial injuries, with the bar busy at the time of the incident. A 44-year-old Northampton man arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm in relation to the incident has been released on conditional bail as enquiries continue. It was at the junction of Finedon Road and Fernmoor Drive. The teenage male rider suffered serious head, arm and ankle injuries which required hospital treatment.

The woman refused and the man then attacked her before she was able to run away and call for help. The suspect is described as a white man, about 5ft 7in, of chubby build, wearing a black Adidas tracksuit. A 37-year-old Wellingborough man arrested in connection with the incident has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue. Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Incident number: 23000245694.
